- Students who have achieved a certain score in the accredited English proficiency test or who have obtained a degree from a university in a native English-speaking country shall be recognized as having passed the English test as prescribed by the Committee.)
- If a person who satisfies the above conditions in the master's course of this graduate school passes the Ph.D. (integrated) course, it is recognized that he/she has passed the English test.)
- Foreign students may be exempted from the English test in any of the following cases.)
- a native English speaker
- A person who holds the nationality of the country where English is used as his/her native language or as a commercial language and has no problem communicating in English(if necessary, he/she may request the results of the international official English test)
- Any other person recognized by the Committee as reasonable

Only those who fail to submit the report card for the accredited English proficiency test due to unavoidable circumstances will conduct the English test separately according to the decision of the principal professor
GSCL : Does not have to take the English test
Public Announcement(Proposal)
- Public Announcement : A presentation on research based on the thesis research plan
- Paper research plan submission time : April/mid-October of each semester
- Public announcement time : Around May/November of each semester
You must complete the public presentation before the semester when you submit your thesis for your degree.(Example: Plan to submit a thesis requesting a degree in August 2024 → Semester to complete the public presentation: by the second semester of 2022)
RECORD OFA RESEARCH TEST
- MSLog(SCL & GSCL) course : According to the changes proportion of your own research careers, which are shown in [Table 1,2], you will be qualified with main screening for degree thesis and graduation requirements if you reach over 100%
- Ph.D(Integrated Program) course : According to the changes proportion of your own research careers, which are shown in [Table 1,2], you will be qualified with main screening for degree thesis and graduation requirements if you reach over 200%.
- The Ph.D. and integrated program students shall obtain at least 200% of the research performance, and 100% or more must be obtained from KCI registered journal publication, including KCI candidates , or international academic journal publication, including journals recognized as a n international academic journal. (Applicable to the freshmen after September 2019.)

- Overseas Journal : International-level Journal of Foreign Studies
- Domestic Journal : Academic Journal of Korea Academic Promotion Foundation (including candidates)
- International Academic Conference : Only academic conferences with more than 4 countries' nationalities, 10 or more published papers, and 50% or more foreign papers are recognized
- Must be in the form of a paper and exclude simple abstracts
- A paper that has obtained approval for publication of a paper is also considered to have been published
- Principle that only research results conducted under Inha University during the period of enrollment are recognized as performance(research results belonging to employment institutions cannot be recognized)
