It is my hope that this homepage will publicize the mission
of the APSL and GSL to develop logistics talent and become a place to communicate with students.
As Dean of Inha University`s Graduate School of Logistics, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to our Asia Pacific School of Logistics (APSL) and Graduate School of Logistics (GSL) homepage.
Strategically located and near Incheon Port and Incheon International Airport, Inha University launched the APSL in 2004 followed by the GSL in 2006. The decision to do so was made with the full support of both the Korean government and the logistics industry as part of an ambitious plan to establish a logistics business hub in Northeast Asia and to develop world-class logistics talent who lead the global market. Today, the APSL and GSL are widely regarded as one of the top education providers in the logistics field.
By optimizing the flow of products, services, information and knowledge between companies, the field of logistics not only involves the study of strategies and techniques to get a competitive advantage through the retrenchment of expenses and customer service improvements, but additionally includes research policies, plans and management of logistics infrastructure such as ports, airports, roads, railways, etc. Equipped with cutting-edge educational facilities and internationally acclaimed faculties from industrial, transportation, and engineering fields as well as business and economics, the APSL and GSL are striving to become an internationally renowned center and model of logistics education.
Through various corporate-academic relationship programs including domestic and overseas internship program, the APSL and GSL are equipping students with the practical skills and knowledge required in logistics industries. Furthermore, we are actively promoting a global approach to education by offering numerous courses partially in English. We also offer a wide range of financial support and scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate students.
We are aiming to become one of the top ten logistics schools in the world, and in this way it is my earnest hope that the APSL and GSL will continue to develop global logistics talent for the 21st century equipped with the requisite professional knowledge and outstanding problem solving skills.
