General Leave of Absence
Students | For students whose circumstances disallow the continuation of their studies |

Restrictions | Cannot exceed two semesters in one leave; cannot exceed four semesters of leave total. Leave for military duty does not count towards said limitations. |
Students on leave for one semester may extend an additional semester, but must return to school after two semesters. | |

Students | For students who have received enlistment notices while in school or on leave |

Application Period | Within the first quarter of each semester Students who plan to enlist but have not yet received enlistment notices must first apply for general leave of absence during application period and apply for leave for military duty thereafter. |

RETURN TO STUDY
Students | For students who wish to end their leave of absence and continue their studies |
---|---|
Procedure | Must submit Application for Return to Study within the first four weeks of the semester and enroll in classes. Unregistered students must register. |

REGISTER FOR RESEARCH
Students | MGLM students who have completed the required 45 credits but are still conducting research or have not yet completed their Master's Thesis. |

Procedure | Complete and submit the Application to Register for Research to administration office. Students must register during the pertaining registration period for the semester. |

Additional Information | Students must pay specified tuition for those registered as research students. Students registered for research who wish to take classes must formally register as regular students. |
